Description

This head torch puts 350 lumens on your forehead and leaves both hands free. The figure is printed on the front of the retail pack, along with seven light modes, a beam reaching 80 metres and a run time of four hours. The pack also shows a night vision setting, the red icon on the bottom row of the mode grid, which is the one to reach for when you want to see without wrecking your own dark adaptation or dazzling the person opposite you. Three AAA alkaline cells come in the pack, so it works from the moment you open it.

Seven modes matter more than the headline lumen figure once the light is actually on your head.
