Description

This is a head torch from the Energizer Vision HD line, and the number that matters is printed large on the pack: 300 lumens. Three lamps sit behind separate lenses in a black housing with red trim, and one button on the top works through the modes. The pack states four modes and dimming from 10 per cent to 100 per cent, so this is not a simple on or off torch: you can wind it down to a quiet close-up glow for reading a map, or open it up to the 55 metre reach the pack claims. Three AAA alkaline cells are included.

Head torches earn their keep whenever you need both hands free after dark.
