Description

This is Energizer's Hardcase Pro worklight, a handheld lamp rated at 550 lumens. The casing is a two tone grey and black moulding with deep ribbing down the lower half for grip and a red catch at the mid point, and the light comes from a long narrow panel running down one face, which spreads light across a work area rather than concentrating it into a tight spot. The retail pack states a magnetic mount, a 7 metre drop rating and an IPX4 water rating, and four AA cells are supplied with it.

A worklight earns its keep when both your hands are busy. The magnet holds it to steel, so it can go on a car wing, the side of a washing machine, a radiator or a shelf upright and stay there while you work underneath or behind it.
