The Energizer 6W LED PLD is a plug-in lamp with a G24q 4-pin base, delivering 835 lumens at 4000K cool white. The compact PLD form factor slots directly into commercial downlights, ceiling recesses, wall uplighters and bulkhead fittings originally designed for compact fluorescent lamps, replacing 18W CFL tubes with a 6W LED equivalent.

Designed for commercial and residential spaces needing task-level illumination, the bulb suits utility rooms, office corridors, stairwells, bathrooms and entrance halls where a neutral, daylight-balanced light tone is preferred over warm white. The G24q base fits standard 4-pin sockets without rewiring or adapter plates, and the bulb starts at full brightness instantly without the warm-up delay of fluorescent tubes.

The non-dimmable LED driver provides stable output on standard mains circuits and avoids the flicker associated with ageing fluorescent ballasts. Energy rating D under the 2021 EU regs reflects the efficiency gain over older CFL technology, reducing both electricity consumption and the frequency of lamp replacements in high-use installations.
