Description

The Empyra is a 78 x 52cm rectangle wall mirror built around a black wooden frame with botanical motifs etched into the mirror glass itself. The etched detailing appears on the right-hand side of the glass surface, showing delicate leaf shapes that catch light at certain angles while leaving the majority of the reflective surface clear and functional.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms and dressing areas where a full-length or near-full-length reflection is needed, the 78cm height provides head-to-waist visibility when mounted at standard picture-hanging height, or full-body reflection when hung lower on the wall. The black wooden frame measures 2.5cm in depth and provides a defined border that works in contemporary, industrial and minimalist interiors where darker tones anchor the space.

The frame is constructed from painted wood with a matt black finish that resists fingerprints and sits flush against the wall once mounted. At 5kg the mirror requires two wall fixings into solid material or appropriate cavity fixings into plasterboard — the hanging hardware is not included. The etched botanical pattern is permanent in the glass and does not wear or fade with cleaning.

Is this a full-length mirror?

At 78cm tall, the Empyra provides head-to-waist reflection when mounted at standard picture height (approximately 150-160cm floor to centre), or closer to full-body reflection when hung lower. It is categorised as a full-length profile but actual visibility depends on mounting height and viewer height.

What wall fixings are needed?

The mirror weighs 5kg and requires two secure fixings. For solid masonry or brick, use two screws and wall plugs rated for at least 3kg each. For plasterboard, use appropriate cavity fixings designed for picture hanging at this weight. Hanging hardware is not included with the mirror.

Can the etched pattern be removed or reversed?

No. The botanical motif is etched directly into the mirror glass during manufacture and is permanent. The pattern appears on the right-hand side of the mirror as viewed from the front and cannot be repositioned.

How is the mirror cleaned?

Wipe the glass with standard glass cleaner or a damp microfibre cloth. The etched areas can be cleaned in the same way as the smooth reflective surface. Wipe the black wooden frame with a dry or barely-damp cloth — avoid soaking the wood or using solvent-based cleaners on the painted finish.
