The Emilo is a grey stoneware cup with a rounded bowl set on a short, sturdy foot, which lifts it off the table and gives it the look of a small footed bowl with a handle. It holds 300ml, well beyond an espresso or a small coffee cup, so it takes a full serving of tea, a milky coffee or a hot chocolate. It is 9cm across and 7cm tall, weighs 0.31KG and has a round loop handle on one side. The glaze carries visible brush strokes that run around the bowl, so the grey varies in tone from one side to the other.
