Emberlit 3 Light Crystal Chandelier - Brass

The Emberlit is a 320mm diameter crystal ceiling light built around a three-tier brass frame housing three E14 bulb fittings. A beaded crystal crown sits flush to the ceiling plate, with faceted crystal droplets cascading from the inner basket and falling from the lower tier to create a waterfall effect. The brass frame shows through the crystal layers, warming the refracted light.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or above where a full-size chandelier would overwhelm the space, the Emberlit suits bedrooms, hallways, cloakrooms and dining areas in flats or period conversions. The 335mm total drop keeps the fitting compact enough for low ceilings whilst the three-tier crystal arrangement retains decorative presence. The chandelier is dimmable when paired with dimmable E14 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch, allowing light levels to be adjusted from bright task lighting to ambient glow.

Each crystal element is individually hung on brass wire links, so the chandelier moves slightly when air currents pass and the crystals chime softly when touched during cleaning. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor rooms only. The brass finish has a mid-tone warmth that pairs with both traditional joinery and warmer contemporary colour palettes, sitting between the cooler tone of polished chrome and the darker patina of antique brass.

What bulbs does it take and are they included?

The Emberlit takes three E14 small Edison screw bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for a warm ambient light that complements the brass tone.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 335mm total drop makes it one of the more compact crystal chandeliers available, suited to ceiling heights of 2.3m or above. For a standard 2.4m UK ceiling height the lowest crystal droplets hang approximately 2.05m above floor level.

Is it dimmable?

The chandelier itself supports dimming, but you must use dimmable E14 bulbs and pair them with a compatible trailing-edge LED dimmer switch. Not all LED bulbs dim smoothly on all dimmers, so test compatibility before final installation.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the power at the consumer unit before cleaning. Wipe each crystal droplet individually with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the brass wire links or getting water into the bulb fittings.
