Elie 4 Light LED Glass Bar Pendant 20W 3000K - Chrome

The Elie is a 70cm chrome bar pendant suspending four teardrop-shaped glass shades, each containing an integrated 5W 3000K LED. The shades are solid glass with decorative bubbles trapped inside during manufacture, which catch and diffuse the light across the surface. The chrome-finished rectangular canopy measures 70cm x 10cm and mounts flush to the ceiling, with four adjustable suspension cables allowing each shade to be set independently between 35cm and 110cm drop.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables between 120-180cm length, and breakfast bars where linear pendant arrangements are preferred over single central fittings, the Elie provides ambient downlight across a narrow zone. The 70cm canopy length suits tables and islands where the pendant can be centred along the longest axis, with each of the four shades spaced approximately 17cm apart. The adjustable cables allow the pendant to be raised or lowered to suit ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.2m, with typical installation placing the shades 60-75cm above a dining table surface or 70-90cm above a kitchen worktop.

The combined 20W LED output delivers warm white light at 3000K colour temperature with a CRI above 80, rendering colours naturally without the cool cast of higher-temperature LEDs. The bubble glass creates soft pools of light on surfaces below rather than sharp-edged spots, reducing glare for anyone seated at the table. The chrome finish on the canopy and suspension cables reflects ambient daylight during the day and integrates cleanly with stainless steel appliances, polished taps and contemporary kitchen finishes. Is the Elie dimmable?

No. The integrated 20W LED is not dimmable and should be connected to a standard non-dimming light switch circuit.

What table length does it suit?

The 70cm canopy length works best over dining tables or kitchen islands between 120cm and 180cm long, where the pendant can be centred along the longest axis. For tables longer than 180cm, two Elie pendants could be installed in sequence, or a longer bar pendant may be more appropriate.

How is the drop height adjusted?

Each of the four suspension cables can be individually adjusted between 35cm and 110cm during installation by feeding cable through the canopy fixings. Once set, the cables remain at the chosen length unless manually readjusted.

Can it be installed on a plasterboard ceiling?

Yes. The fitting weighs 5kg and is supplied with gravity toggles for secure fixing to plasterboard where ceiling joists are not directly accessible. If joists are accessible, standard screws into the joist provide a more robust fixing.
