Description

El Aro is a 160cm tall decorative sculpture combining a gold-plated fiberglass figure seated on a white marble-effect porcelain stoneware pedestal, with an integrated LED halo ring suspended above the figure's head. The figure itself is cast from fiberglass and polyester resin, finished in a high-gloss gold plate that reflects ambient light. The halo ring is made from opal acrylic and houses a 4W integrated LED emitting 180 lumens at 3000K, casting a soft warm glow around the figure.

Designed as a statement piece for entrance halls, galleries, luxury residential lobbies and high-ceiling living spaces, El Aro functions as both sculpture and ambient light source. The 160cm height sits at adult head height when placed on the floor, making the illuminated halo visible from across a room. The 48cm depth and 40cm width of the marble-effect base provide stability for the 29.73kg total weight, though the sculpture should be positioned away from high-traffic areas due to its projection and weight distribution.

The white marble-effect base shows grey mineral veining characteristic of Carrara-style porcelain stoneware, providing tonal contrast against the reflective gold figure. No. The 4W LED is integrated into the opal acrylic halo ring and not user-replaceable. LED lifespan is typically 25,000+ hours at rated output. If the LED fails within the warranty period, contact Niori for support.

Does the sculpture arrive assembled?

No. The halo ring and figure mount to the marble-effect pedestal base using supplied fixings. Assembly instructions are included as a PDF download (see Downloads tab). Basic tools are required.

What ceiling height is needed?

The sculpture stands 160cm tall from floor to the top of the halo ring. Standard UK residential ceiling heights of 2.4m accommodate the piece comfortably, though rooms with lower ceilings may find the halo sits closer to eye level when standing.

Can the gold finish tarnish?

The gold-plated fiberglass is sealed with a high-gloss clear coat to resist tarnishing under normal indoor conditions. Clean with a dry microfibre cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which can scratch the plating.
