Description

The Ego spot is an aimable head that clips onto the Ego 48V magnetic track and throws a single defined circle of light where you point it. The barrel tilts and rotates on the rail, so one head can pick out a picture, a product or a section of worktop, then follow it when the layout shifts. Its beam holds a tight 30 degrees, keeping the light contained on the target rather than spilling across the room. Lit, it reads as a clean warm pool; off, the compact matt black body sits low on the run.

The built-in LED draws 8W for around 700 lumens at a warm 2700K, with a colour rendering above 90 so timber, artwork and fabric keep their true tone under the beam. This is the DALI version: dimming and switching run over a DALI controller wired to the track, giving smooth level control across a line of heads. Because it lives on a magnetic track, several spots share one low-voltage line and each aim at a separate point, then reposition by hand whenever a hang changes, which suits retail, galleries and open-plan rooms set to a scene.

The head measures 223mm on its longest axis and stands 126mm tall on the track, in aluminium finished matt black to match the black Ego rail. The LED is integrated and included, rated for 50,000 hours, so there is no bulb to source or replace. Rated IP20, it is made for dry indoor rooms and holds to a live Ego 48V magnetic track magnetically, taking its supply through the rail. It needs the track plus a DALI-capable driver and controller, which we can supply alongside.
