These salad servers come as a pair: a spoon with a broad, rounded bowl, and a partner server whose head is split by a narrow slit that ends in a small round hole. A split head like this is the fork of the pair, holding leaves against the spoon as you lift. Both pieces are made of 100% iron with an electroplated finish in a brass colour, and the surface is left uneven and textured. The handles are built up from a stack of chunky, faceted beads that are as good to look at as they are to hold.
