Description

The Eclipseax is an 18cm circular outdoor wall light with an integrated 9W 3000K LED mounted behind a matt black metal disc. The LED sits in a shallow housing that projects approximately 40mm from the wall, creating a low-profile circular form that works on rendered walls, brick facades and alongside building entrances without protruding into pathways.

Designed for exterior walls where functional lighting is needed without decorative detail, the Eclipseax suits building entrances, courtyard walls, garage sides and perimeter fencing. The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water spray from any direction, making it suitable for unsheltered positions including coastal and wet-weather regions. The black metal finish resists UV degradation and pairs with anthracite render, dark timber cladding and modern industrial exteriors.

The 9W LED delivers approximately 800 lumens at 3000K, which gives enough light to illuminate a doorway or mark a boundary without creating harsh brightness. The light output is fixed — the fitting is non-dimmable. The shallow mounting depth means the Eclipseax can be fitted to walls with limited clearance behind external insulation or where downpipes and gutters run close to the mounting position. Wiring enters the rear of the housing through a standard 20mm knock-out.

Ideal Lux manufactures the Eclipseax in Italy and backs it with a 5-year warranty. The integrated LED has a rated lifespan of 30,000 hours, which translates to approximately 10 years of typical evening-only outdoor use before replacement is needed.
