Description

The Knightsbridge E27 pendant lamp holder pairs a polished brass cylindrical fitting with a black braided flex cable, providing a pre-wired suspension system for decorative filament bulbs and fabric-flex shades. The holder accepts any standard E27 Edison screw bulb up to 60W and carries a Class II double-insulated rating, meaning it requires no earth connection to the ceiling supply.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands, hallways and bedroom pendants where the bulb or shade becomes the focal point, the holder's 150mm fixed drop positions the lamp base 15cm below the ceiling rose. The polished brass finish reflects warm light and pairs with both traditional brass fittings and contemporary interiors using mixed metallics. The black braided cable adds visual contrast and suits industrial, mid-century and modern schemes where exposed cable is part of the aesthetic.

The holder accepts any standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with decorative filament LED bulbs between 4-8W for ambient lighting or task lighting depending on the room.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb fitted. The holder itself supports dimming if paired with a dimmable E27 LED or halogen bulb and a compatible dimmer switch.

Can the cable length be adjusted?

No. The holder has a fixed 150mm drop from the ceiling rose to the lamp base. If a longer or shorter drop is needed, consider cable suspension kits that allow custom cable lengths.

Does it need an earth connection?

No. The holder carries a Class II double-insulated rating, meaning it does not require an earth wire. However, an earth terminal is present on the fitting if your ceiling supply includes one.
