Description

The Duna is a 1100mm linear pendant with four curved chrome segments, each housing an E27 fitting behind an opal acrylic diffuser. The polished chrome frame reflects ambient light across the room while the white acrylic diffuses direct light from the bulbs, creating a uniform wash along the 1100mm span rather than four distinct hotspots.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and work counters where linear task and ambient light is needed, the Duna sits 490-720mm below the ceiling on adjustable suspension cables. The 1100mm width suits tables of 1600-2000mm length, or islands of 2000mm or longer where the fixture is offset towards the working end. The four E27 sockets accept standard LED, CFL or filament bulbs up to 15W each (60W total across all four), giving control over colour temperature and brightness independent of the fixture.

The chrome is polished to a high reflective finish that catches both natural daylight and evening interior lighting, adding visual interest when the fitting is switched off. The opal acrylic diffusers are curved to follow the chrome segments, creating a layered effect when viewed from the side. At 4.2kg the fitting needs secure fixing to a ceiling joist or a plasterboard anchor rated for the weight. The fixture ships with four 2700K CFL bulbs included, though these can be replaced with LEDs of any colour temperature to suit the room.

What bulbs does it take and are they included?

The Duna takes four E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 15W each. It ships with four 2700K warm white CFL bulbs included, but these can be replaced with any standard E27 LED or filament bulb to change the colour temperature or brightness.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, but only if you fit dimmable bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch. The fixture itself does not restrict dimming, but standard CFL bulbs are not dimmable. Replace with dimmable LED bulbs for dimming functionality.

What table length does it suit?

The 1100mm width works best over dining tables of 1600-2000mm length, or kitchen islands of 2000mm or longer. For smaller tables under 1400mm, the fitting may visually dominate the space.

How is the drop adjusted during installation?

The suspension cables can be shortened or lengthened within the 490-720mm range during installation by adjusting the cable grips inside the ceiling canopy. The cables are not infinitely adjustable below 490mm without cutting.
