The Draper is a table lamp built from hundreds of individual amber glass beads strung on fine wire to form a rectangular column measuring 23cm square and 70cm tall. Two E27 bulb fittings inside the beaded column sit one above the other, casting light outward through the glass fringe. The beads hang loose enough to move slightly when the lamp is shifted, creating a shimmer effect when lit.

Designed for side tables, console tables and bedroom nightstands where ambient mood lighting is needed rather than task light, the Draper works in Art Deco, traditional and warm contemporary interiors. The 70cm height suits standard table surfaces of 45-75cm, keeping the light source at a comfortable level for seating areas. The lamp includes a rocker switch on the cord and takes two E27 bulbs (sold separately), allowing flexibility in colour temperature and brightness. Each lamp is assembled by hand, with individual glass beads threaded onto the wire frame one at a time. This means the exact spacing and drape of the beads varies slightly between pieces, and no two lamps are identical. What bulbs does the Draper take?
