Description
We stock the Double Moon as a vertical wall light built around two clear glass spheres, one set above and one below a polished chrome disc. A slim black metal rod runs vertically through the centre, holding the globes in line and giving the fitting its upright shape. An integrated 8W LED at 3000K sits inside the chrome disc and casts 950 lumens of warm white light through both globes in a wide 120 degree spread.
We like it for hallways, living room feature walls and either side of a bed as a pair of reading lights, where the dual-globe layout throws balanced light both above and below the mounting point. The clear glass diffuses the LED softly to take the edge off glare while keeping the globes bright and legible. The polished chrome and black metal sit well alongside contemporary and mid-century rooms, especially where chrome already appears on door handles, cabinet furniture or nearby fittings.
The light source is an integrated LED, so there are no bulbs to buy or replace, and the fitting is not dimmable. It runs on 220-240V AC mains and is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so keep it away from bathrooms and other damp spaces. The 80 CRI rating gives honest, natural colour for everyday room lighting, though it is not intended for colour-critical tasks such as make-up or detailed work.

Frequently Asked
Does it need bulbs?
No. The Double Moon uses an integrated 8W LED rated at 3000K warm white, so the light source is built in. There are no bulbs to buy or replace, and it gives 950 lumens across both glass globes.
Is it dimmable?
No. This fitting is not dimmable, so it runs at a fixed brightness. If you want dimming in the same spot, choose a fitting we list as dimmable instead.
Can I use it in a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so it suits hallways, living rooms and bedrooms rather than bathrooms or other damp areas.
Which way up does it mount?
It is a vertical wall light, with the black rod running up and down and a glass globe above and below the chrome disc. That balanced layout lights both up and down from the mounting point, which works well beside a bed or on a feature wall.
