Description

We stock the Double Moon as a vertical glass pendant built around two clear glass spheres stacked on a slim black metal spine. An integrated 8W LED module sits inside the globes, giving 950 lumens of warm white (3000K) light through the clear glass in a wide 120 degree spread, with the LED visible as a bright vertical element inside each sphere.

We designed it for over a dining table, a kitchen island or a stairwell where you have a bit of ceiling height to play with. Because the two spheres and their central hub stack upward rather than spreading wide, the pendant suits narrower zones where a broad shade would dominate, and it works either as a single drop or in a row spaced along a longer island.

The metal frame, ceiling rose and central hub are powder-coated in matt black, which contrasts nicely with the transparency of the glass. The LED is non-dimmable and the fitting is rated IP20 for dry indoor spaces, with a colour rendering of 80 CRI and an energy class of F. It runs on standard 220-240V mains, and the spine conceals the cable run down from the ceiling.

Is the Double Moon pendant dimmable?

No. The integrated 8W LED is non-dimmable, so it runs at a fixed warm white output of 950 lumens at 3000K and does not need a separate driver or dimmer.

Do I need to buy bulbs separately?

No bulbs are needed. The LED module is built into the fitting, so it arrives ready to wire in with the light source already integrated inside the glass spheres.

Where can I fit it?

It is rated IP20 for dry interior spaces, so it is best over a dining table, a kitchen island or in a stairwell. We would not recommend it for bathrooms or other damp or exposed locations.
