Description

The Dorica is a slim linear pendant that runs 1400mm along a single bar, with a continuous opal polycarbonate diffuser that turns its integrated LED into a soft, even line of light rather than a row of bright points. It gives a broad wash straight down, so it lights the length of a surface evenly rather than casting one hot pool. In the orange finish the ribbed orange bar reads as a clean horizontal stroke, lit or unlit.

The light is warm and steady at 3000K, with a strong 4000 lumen output and a high colour rendering of over 90, so food and finishes below it look true. It suits a dining table, a kitchen island or a long worktop, where its 1400mm length matches the surface beneath. The drop adjusts from 390mm down to 2185mm, so the height can be set to the ceiling and the table below.

The bar is aluminium with a fluted, ribbed orange surface and an opal polycarbonate diffuser on a black cable. The LED is built in and included, so it lights the moment it is wired, and it is dimmable through a DALI or push system for setting the level. Rated IP20, it is for dry indoor rooms, so we would have an electrician make the connection.
