Description

The Display Wide is a short linear module that clips onto a magnetic track and runs a frosted lens along its face. Where the Accent aims a tight beam, this one spreads light broadly through a 125 degree diffuse optic, so it fills an area rather than picking out one object. Fitted, it reads as a neat 565mm bar just 32mm wide and 62mm deep; lit, it lays a soft, even sheet of warm light across a wall, a ceiling plane or a seating area with no hard edge.

Light comes from a built-in LED module giving 2950 lumens at 3000K warm white, drawing 19W with a colour rendering above 90 so surfaces and furnishings hold their colour. The broad diffuse spread makes it a general layer rather than an accent, useful over an open-plan corner, a reading spot or a hallway where you want gentle fill from a slim fitting. Several modules can sit along one profile to extend the wash, mixed with tighter heads where accents are needed.

The body is coated aluminium in matt white, made to sit quietly against a pale ceiling and a white magnetic track. The LED is integrated and included, rated for 50,000 hours, so there is no lamp to fit. Dimming is DALI with the driver built in, and it is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms. Power is drawn from the track, so the Link 3-phase 1-10V/DALI profile it mounts on is ordered separately.

How does it differ from the Display Accent?

The Accent throws a tight 48 degree beam to pick out art or shelving; this Wide module spreads a 125 degree diffuse wash for general fill. Choose it where you want an even layer of light over a wall or a seating area rather than a directed accent.

Does it come ready to light, and can it be dimmed?

The LED and driver are built in and included, rated at 19W with a 50,000 hour life, so there is no bulb to buy. It dims over DALI through a controller or system, in step with other heads on the same track.

Is the track included, and how big is it?

The bar is 565mm long, 32mm wide and 62mm deep. The magnetic track profile is a separate accessory (Link 3-phase 1-10V/DALI), so the module is added to a track ordered for the run. In matt white it suits an open-plan corner, hallway or reading spot.
