Description

The Display UGR is a long, slim track bar that clips onto a magnetic rail and lays down a broad, even wash of light rather than a tight spot. The body is a matt black extrusion, 1065mm from end to end and only 32mm deep, with the LED set behind a shielded face so the source stays out of sight. Lit, it reads as one continuous line of light overhead; off, it holds a low, quiet strip against the ceiling line.

The built-in LED gives 4350 lumens across a 70-degree spread, with 2770 of those reaching the working plane, enough to carry a retail bay, a kitchen run or an office desk on a single length. Its low-glare optic holds the unified glare rating below 22, so the beam covers a wide area without the harsh dazzle a bare downlight can throw, and a colour rendering above 90 keeps skin tones and stock colours true. Colour is a neutral 4000K white that keeps a workspace or a shop floor bright and alert rather than warm.

The bar mounts on the Link 3-phase 1-10V or DALI track profile, which we supply separately to suit the run, and it feeds power and dimming straight through the rail. The driver is built in and included, the fitting is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms and built to Class II, and it dims through a DALI controller. We supply the head ready to drop onto the track, with the LED already fitted and nothing to wire into it.

What kind of light does it give?

Does it need a bulb, and does it work on its own?

No bulb is needed; the LED is built into the bar with the driver included, rated for about 50,000 hours. It is a track head, so it clips onto an Link 3-phase 1-10V or DALI profile, which we supply separately to length.

Can it be dimmed?

Yes, through DALI. The bar takes its dimming signal from the track, so on a DALI-controlled Link profile the output can be set from full down to a low level. We can advise on the right profile and controller before you order.

How big is it and where does it suit?

The bar is 1065mm long, 73mm high and 32mm deep. Its wide, bright, low-glare spread in crisp 4000K suits a retail display, a workshop, an office or a large open room, run singly or linked along a longer track.
