Description

The Display Accent is a short, slim track bar that clips onto a magnetic rail and picks out an area with a controlled beam rather than a broad wash. The body is a matt white extrusion, 535mm long and only 32mm deep, with the LED recessed behind a deep-shielded face so the source stays hidden and reads cleanly against a pale ceiling. Lit, it lays a defined band of light on whatever sits below; off, it settles into the surface as a low, tidy line.

The built-in LED gives 2050 lumens through a tighter 48-degree beam, with 1690 of those landing on the target, so it concentrates light on a counter, a run of shelving or a feature wall instead of filling the whole room. The deep optic holds the unified glare rating below 16, low enough to sit comfortably in eye-line over a display, and a colour rendering above 90 keeps stock and artwork colours honest. Colour is a neutral 4000K white that reads crisp and clean over goods on show.

The bar mounts on the Link 3-phase 1-10V or DALI track profile, which we supply separately to suit the run, and it draws power and dimming through the rail. The driver is built in and included, the fitting is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms and built to Class II, and it dims through a DALI controller. We supply the head ready to drop onto the track, with the LED already fitted and nothing to wire into it.

What kind of light does it give?

A focused, crisp beam. The built-in LED throws 2050 lumens through a 48-degree spread at a neutral 4000K, so it picks out a counter, shelving or a feature wall rather than lighting a whole room. A deep optic holds the glare rating below 16 and a colour rendering above 90 keeps colours true.

Does it need a bulb, and does it work on its own?

No bulb is needed; the LED is built into the bar with the driver included, rated for about 50,000 hours. It is a track head, so it clips onto an Link 3-phase 1-10V or DALI profile, which we supply separately to length.

Can it be dimmed?

Yes, through DALI. The bar takes its dimming signal from the track, so on a DALI-controlled Link profile the output can be set from full down to a low level. We can advise on the right profile and controller before you order.

How big is it and where does it suit?

The bar is 535mm long, 73mm high and 32mm deep. Its tighter, low-glare beam in crisp 4000K suits accent lighting over retail displays, artwork, shelving or a counter, run singly or in a row along a longer track.
