Description

The Dip Travertine is an arc floor lamp that carries a slim disc of light out over the room. A single curved arm rises from a round travertine marble base and sweeps out 188cm, so the head sits well clear of where the lamp stands. It is 196cm tall, the flat head is 25cm across and the base is 48cm across. The light source is an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change: 18W giving 1931 lumens, with a CRI of 90, so colours and skin tones look natural. We offer it in Brushed Bronze or Textured Soft White, and at 2700K for a warmer white or 3000K for a slightly fresher one.

We think of it first for the living room. The long reach lets you light a sofa, an armchair or a low table from the edge of the room, with no ceiling point to add and nothing to wire, because it simply plugs in. It is push-dimmable, so you can bring it down to a low glow for a film or up to full brightness for reading. Allow for the 48cm base when you plan where it stands, with the arc curving out over the seat rather than into a walkway. It is rated IP40, so it is for dry rooms indoors only.

The construction is simple and clean: a round travertine marble base, a short upright stem, one continuous arc and a flat disc head that casts a single pool of light downwards. Choose Brushed Bronze for a warm, deep tone or Textured Soft White for a lighter one. It runs at 230V and is a Class II fitting. Before you order, check you have 196cm of height and room for the 188cm sweep, and it will sit just as intended. It has a plug on its cable, and we include a UK adaptor in the box, so it is ready for a UK socket. Our photographs show the brushed bronze version.
