Description

We stock the Dip as a transparent optical lens for 10W downlight fittings. It is precision-moulded from optically clear plastic, with a structured inner face that shapes the beam angle and light distribution from the LED behind it, while the outer face stays flat and smooth for easy cleaning.

We supply it as a replacement or upgrade component for existing downlights, where the original lens has been damaged, discoloured by heat, or where you want a different beam pattern after a room is reconfigured. It suits both commercial and residential settings, from retail displays and hotel corridors to office ceilings and home kitchens, clipping or screwing into the front of the fitting depending on the downlight model.

The transparent finish keeps light transmission high, losing very little output to tinting or diffusion. Being plastic, it is lighter than a glass equivalent and less likely to shatter if the fitting is knocked during maintenance. The lens is not dimmable in itself; any dimming depends on the LED driver and control gear inside the host downlight.
