Description
We stock the Dip as a 15W LED recessed downlight in white, with a 76mm face for a neat, low-profile look in the ceiling. Its integrated LED gives 1620 lumens of warm white light at 3000K, and the fixed 50 degree beam throws a focused pool downward for task, accent or general lighting. The white aluminium body has a 90 CRI rating, so colours read true under the warm output.
It suits living rooms, kitchens, hallways, offices and retail spaces. Space several at roughly 1.5 to 2m intervals for even room lighting, or place one over a worktop, a mirror or a reception desk where you want light directed onto a specific spot. The white finish sits quietly in white and light-toned ceilings without drawing attention to the fitting.
Spring clips hold it into a cut-out in the ceiling void, so you will need enough depth above the plasterboard or ceiling tile to take the body and its finned heat sink. The driver is non-dimmable and wires to a standard 220-240V UK supply. The aluminium housing and vertical-fin heat sink manage the heat from the 15W LED for steady, sustained running. Its energy rating is class G.

Frequently Asked
What size cut-out does it need?
The downlight has a 76mm face and drops into a matching recessed cut-out in the ceiling. You will need enough void depth above the plasterboard or suspended tile to take the body and its heat sink, so do check the space before you cut.
Is it dimmable?
No. This version runs on a non-dimmable driver, so it gives a fixed output at full brightness. It wires straight to a standard 220-240V UK mains supply.
Can I use it in a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. For living rooms, kitchens, hallways, offices and retail spaces it is fine as a general or task light.
What sort of light does it give?
It puts out 1620 lumens of warm white light at 3000K through a 50 degree beam, so you get a focused downward pool rather than a wide wash. With a 90 CRI rating, colours look accurate under it, which helps over worktops and mirrors.
