Description

We stock the Dip as a compact 66mm recessed downlight in matt black aluminium, made to set into the ceiling for a neat, built-in finish. Inside is an integrated 10W LED giving 1100 lumens of warm 2700K white through a deep-set 50 degree reflector, and with a 90 CRI it renders colours accurately, so skin tones, fabrics and finishes read true.

The 50 degree beam suits general room lighting when the fittings are spaced at roughly 1.5 to 2m, and it also works for accent light over artwork, shelving or a worktop. The warm 2700K tone and faithful colour rendering make it a good fit for living rooms, kitchens, dressing rooms and bedrooms. Rated IP20, it is made for dry indoor spaces and is not suitable for wet rooms or outdoor use.

The black aluminium body doubles as a heat sink, so the LED runs cool without a fan and stays silent in use. Installation needs a ceiling cut-out sized to the 66mm fitting, enough void depth for the downlight and its driver, and a connection to a 220-240V mains supply through the included driver. It runs at a fixed 10W output and is not dimmable, switching on and off at the wall.
