Description

The Dip LED ceiling light holds a flat, round head of light at the end of a long, slim arm. The head is 25cm across and the arm gives a reach of 112cm, dropping from a small round ceiling plate and then bending to run out level, so the light sits well away from the point where the fitting is fixed. It is finished in Textured Soft White, which keeps the whole piece quiet against a pale ceiling. The light comes from an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change: it draws 18W and gives 1931lm, with a CRI of 90 for true, natural colour.

That long reach is the reason to choose it. Where the ceiling point is not where you want the light, the Dip carries it across to a dining table, a desk, a sideboard or a reading chair set away from the centre of the room, without moving the wiring. It suits living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways and studies. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only. It comes in two colour temperatures, and you choose one when you order: the 2700K version gives a warmer, softer light for evenings and bedrooms, while the 3000K version gives a slightly crisper white that suits a desk or a study.

The Dip runs on 230V mains and is wired in by an electrician, so a qualified electrician should install it at your ceiling point. It is dimmable by DALI or push: DALI suits a home or building already run on a DALI control system, and push dimming works from a push switch.
