Description

Dip is a single-head LED ceiling light in a Brushed Bronze finish, and its shape does the work. A long arm drops from a small round ceiling plate, bends through a soft curve and runs out level to a flat, round head 25cm across. The arm gives it a reach of 112cm, so the light falls well away from the ceiling point rather than directly beneath it. The integrated LED draws 18W and gives 1931 lumens, which means no bulb to buy or change and a good, generous light from a slim head.

Because the head sits well away from the ceiling plate, Dip is a good answer when the electrical point is in the wrong place: over a dining table set off-centre, above a desk by the window, or over an armchair where you read. It works in living rooms, dining rooms, studies, bedrooms and hallways. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. A CRI of 90 keeps colours true to life, which matters over food, books and fabrics. It dims by DALI or push control, so the same light can be bright for work and low for the evening.

The finish is Brushed Bronze throughout, from the ceiling plate along the arm to the rim of the head. The light comes from the white face on the underside of the head, so the fitting reads as a slim line and a disc rather than a shade. With the LED built in, the head stays shallow and there is no bulb to reach up and change. We sell it in two colour temperatures. Choose 2700K for a warmer evening light or 3000K for a slightly whiter one. It runs on 230V mains and is wired in by a qualified electrician, so it is one to plan for when you are working out the room's lighting.
