Description

The Dip is an LED ceiling light with a single round disc head held out on a slim rod arm, all in Brushed Champagne. The arm drops from a small round ceiling mount, turns through a soft curve and runs out almost level to a head 25cm across, giving a reach of 112cm. The light comes from an integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It draws 18W and gives 1931 lumens with a CRI of 90, so colours look natural beneath it. We offer it in two colour temperatures: 2700K for a warmer, softer white, or 3000K for a slightly crisper one.

Because the head sits well away from where the fitting meets the ceiling, the Dip puts light where a central ceiling point cannot: over a dining table, beside a sofa or reading chair, above a desk in a study or home office, or over a bed. It suits a hallway or a reception area just as well as a living room. It dims by DALI or push dimming, so the same fitting can give clear light for working and a low glow later in the evening. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only.

The Brushed Champagne finish has a soft, warm sheen rather than a mirror shine, and it covers the arm, the head and the ceiling mount alike. The rod is narrow and the disc is shallow, with a flat white diffuser on its underside, so from below the Dip reads as a fine line and a quiet circle. It runs on 230V mains and is wired in by a qualified electrician. When you choose its position, allow for the 112cm reach so the head lands exactly where you want the light.
