Description

A three part cocktail shaker in aluminium under a bronze finish, 24cm high and 10cm across at the foot. The body tapers upward from a wide base to a stepped collar carrying the strainer, and a domed cap sits over that. The whole surface is etched by hand in close vertical marks, banded so the pattern reads in horizontal courses, and the bronze sits brighter on the raised ground and darker down in the cuts.

It holds 750ml. At 24cm it stands taller than the glasses it fills. At 0.23kg it is light in the hand for its size. It is food safe.

The shaker is aluminium and the bronze is laid over it, then the pattern is etched into the surface by hand, so the marks are never cut twice the same way and the finish shows more of the metal underneath in some places than others. It comes apart into three: the body, the strainer collar and the cap.
