Description

Twelve baubles of 3cm each, blown from recycled glass in mixed shades: gold, amber, coral, teal, deep red, navy and dark green all appear in the set. The lustre finish sits over the colour, so each one reads as a jewel held up to the light rather than as a flat painted surface. A metal clasp at the top takes a knotted sari silk tie.

This is the set where the colour is in the glass and not only in the tie. Hung together on one branch they read as a run of different colours at a single size, which a set of matched baubles cannot do. At 3cm they hang from the thin ends of branches that will not take a full-size bauble.

The glass is recycled and the ties are cotton sari silk. Neither the exact mix of colours nor the ties repeat from one set to the next, because both are made one at a time. Twelve are supplied. The same bauble is made in silver and in antique gold.
