Description

The Deniz is a flush ceiling light with a single round glass globe, held close to the ceiling by a brass gallery on a round ceiling plate. It is 32cm tall and 25cm across, so it gives a room a soft ball of light without hanging down into it. The globe comes in Clear or Opal glass: the Clear glass shows off the bulb inside, while the Opal glass spreads a gentle, even glow across the room. The fitting is made of brass and glass, and comes in Polished Brass, Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Natural Brass, Matt Black, White or Satin Brass.

Because it sits flush to the ceiling rather than hanging on a flex, the Deniz suits rooms where headroom matters, and it is a natural choice for a hallway, where a globe light gives a warm welcome without getting in the way. It is rated IP44, so it also suits a bathroom: a Clear globe keeps the room bright for the morning routine, and an Opal globe softens the light for a long bath. If you are matching paintwork, the Matt Black finish is painted to RAL 9005 and the White finish to RAL 9010. The brass finishes, from the bright Polished Brass to the softer Antique Brass and Satin Brass, sit as happily in a period house as in a newer one.

Every Deniz is made to order for you in Ireland. It takes one E27 bulb, sold separately, of up to 40W, so choose a bulb to suit the room and the globe you pick. The maker guarantees the fittings it makes for five years from the date of purchase; bulbs are not covered. The Deniz is wired in to the mains, so plan for a qualified electrician to install it.
