Description
The Dekala is a 46cm diameter side table built around three material layers: a cylindrical black marble base, a polished gold stainless steel pedestal and frame, and a tempered glass top finished with a black marble-effect print. The gold frame wraps the perimeter of the glass, creating a defined edge that catches light from table lamps or ambient room sources.
Designed for beside a sofa, next to a reading chair, or in hallway alcoves where a compact surface is needed, the Dekala pairs with table lamps, drinks, books, or decorative objects. The 54cm height sits comfortably beside standard armchair arms (typically 60-65cm high) and below most sofa arms, making it accessible without blocking sightlines across a room. The cylindrical marble base gives the table a low centre of gravity and 12.78kg of mass, reducing the risk of tipping under asymmetric loads.
The black marble base shows natural variation in veining and tonal density between individual pieces, while the glass top presents a consistent printed marble pattern across the surface. The polished gold finish on the steel frame reflects warm tones from incandescent or warm LED lamps and pairs with both dark contemporary interiors and warmer classical schemes where brass or gold accents appear elsewhere in the room.

Assembly Instruction
Frequently Asked
Does the table require assembly?
Yes. The marble base, steel pedestal and glass top are shipped separately and require assembly on site. Full assembly instructions are available in the Downloads tab above.
Is the glass top real marble?
The top is tempered glass with a printed black marble-effect finish, not natural stone. The base is natural black marble and will show variation in veining between individual pieces.
What weight can the table support?
The table is designed for typical side table loads: a table lamp, a stack of books, drinks, decorative objects. It is not rated for use as a seat or step, and heavy or off-centre loads should be avoided.
How is the glass cleaned?
Wipe the glass top with a damp microfibre cloth and a standard glass cleaner. The marble base can be wiped with a barely-damp cloth but avoid soaking the stone or using acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus-based sprays) which can etch the surface.
