Description

The Dee is a twin-head surface-mount ceiling spotlight with two cylindrical aluminium housings, each 60mm in diameter and 88mm in projection, finished in matt white. Each head holds a GU10 bulb (sold separately) and rotates independently on its base, allowing the two beams to be aimed at different points in a room or converged onto a single feature.

Designed for kitchens, hallways, home offices and retail spaces where directional light is needed without recessed downlighting, the Dee mounts directly to the ceiling surface via rear cable entry. The IP20 rating limits it to dry indoor locations, and the Class I earthed construction requires connection to a standard 230V mains circuit. The tool-free cable connector simplifies installation where ceiling access is restricted.

The white aluminium finish gives a clean, neutral profile that recedes against white or light-coloured ceilings, letting the directed light define the space rather than the fittings themselves. Each head supports GU10 bulbs up to 10W, and dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb choice — pair with dimmable GU10 LEDs for full control. Each head takes a standard GU10 bulb up to 10W. Bulbs are sold separately. Knightsbridge offers GU10 LEDs in various colour temperatures (warm white 2700K, cool white 4000K, daylight 6500K) plus dimmable and SmartKnight app-controlled options.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the GU10 bulb you choose. Pair the Dee with a dimmable GU10 LED and a compatible LED dimmer switch for full brightness control. Non-dimmable GU10 bulbs will operate at full output only.

Can the heads be angled independently?

Yes. Each head rotates on its base, allowing the two beams to be directed to different points in the room or converged onto a single feature such as artwork or a worktop area.
