Description

The Knightsbridge Dee is a single GU10 spotlight housed in a 60mm diameter matt white aluminium cylinder with an adjustable head. The spotlight mounts directly to a ceiling or wall surface via rear cable entry and tool-free connector, projecting 88mm from the mounting surface once installed. The head tilts and rotates within the cylinder, allowing directional aiming for accent lighting, task lighting or wall washing.

Designed for domestic and light commercial installation where directed light is needed without recessed ceiling voids, the Dee suits hallways, kitchens, home offices, retail displays and gallery walls. The surface-mount design avoids cutting into ceilings or running new cables through voids — the fitting simply screws to the ceiling rose or junction box with the cable fed through the rear entry point. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations.

The matt white aluminium finish provides a clean, low-profile appearance that blends into white or light-coloured ceilings without creating visual clutter. The 60mm diameter and cylindrical form give the fitting a compact presence that works in lower-ceiling rooms where bulkier spotlights would dominate. The fitting accepts any standard GU10 lamp up to 10W (sold separately), including LED, halogen, or Knightsbridge SmartKnight controllable GU10s for dimming and colour temperature adjustment.

Does the Dee come with a GU10 bulb?

No. The fitting is supplied without a lamp. It accepts any standard GU10 bulb up to 10W. Most users pair this with a 5-7W LED GU10 in 3000K or 4000K depending on the room use.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the GU10 bulb fitted. If you install a dimmable GU10 LED and pair it with a compatible LED dimmer switch, the spotlight will dim. Non-dimmable GU10 bulbs will not dim regardless of the switch.

Can it be mounted on a wall or just ceilings?

The Dee can be mounted on either a ceiling or wall surface. The adjustable head allows the beam to be angled as needed regardless of mounting orientation.

What other finishes are available?

The Dee range includes matt white, matt black and brushed chrome finishes. Twin-head versions are also available. Use the site search or filters to find other variants in stock.
