Description

The Davos is a 100mm cube outdoor wall light with an integrated 6W LED delivering 1100 lumens of 4000K cool white light through both upward and downward apertures. The fitting is finished in sand white powder-coated aluminium and carries an IP54 rating, making it suitable for UK exterior use on house walls, garden boundaries and commercial building entrances where dust and rain exposure occur.

Designed to create both functional path lighting and architectural accent, the dual-beam projection casts light onto the wall surface above and below the fitting, creating a visual emphasis on building texture while also illuminating the ground immediately in front. The 100mm projection from the wall and compact 100mm square face suit modern façades and minimalist schemes where the fitting needs to be present without dominating. The cool white 4000K output provides crisp visibility for security and wayfinding rather than warm ambient lighting.

The sand white finish is a neutral off-white that sits comfortably on white, cream and light grey rendered walls without creating strong colour contrast. The powder-coated aluminium construction keeps the weight at 0.61kg, light enough to mount on standard external wall plugs without needing reinforced fixings. The LED is non-dimmable and factory-sealed into the housing, removing the need for lamp replacement over the typical LED lifespan.

What does IP54 mean for outdoor use?

IP54 means the fitting is protected from dust ingress sufficient to prevent interference with operation, and from water splashes from any direction. This makes it suitable for exterior walls exposed to rain but not for direct spray from hoses or areas where water pools.

Can the light direction be adjusted?

No. The Davos casts fixed upward and downward beams through apertures in the top and bottom of the cube. The beam cannot be redirected or tilted after installation.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 6W LED is integrated into the housing and sealed at manufacture. The LED is rated for a typical lifespan of 25,000-30,000 hours, equivalent to approximately 10-12 years of evening-only use.

What wiring is required?

The Davos requires a permanent mains connection at 220-240V. It does not have a plug and must be wired into an external lighting circuit, typically via a weatherproof junction box or connected directly to a fused spur. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
