Description
The Davos is a 100mm cube outdoor wall light with an integrated 12W LED producing 1100lm at 3000K warm white. The anthracite powder-coated aluminium body houses a bi-directional LED array that projects light upward and downward through narrow apertures at the top and base of the cube, leaving the front and sides as solid geometric planes.
Designed for exterior walls on contemporary homes, porches, courtyard entrances and garden feature walls, the Davos provides accent lighting rather than broad illumination. The twin beams of warm white light graze the wall surface above and below the fitting, highlighting texture in brick, render, stone or timber cladding. The 100mm projection from the wall keeps the cube clear of rainwater run-off on most vertical surfaces. IP54 rating provides protection against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making the fitting suitable for unsheltered locations exposed to UK weather.
The anthracite finish is a dark grey powder coat with a low-sheen surface that absorbs rather than reflects daylight, allowing the fitting to recede into darker cladding or act as a defined contrast against white or pale render. The cube form measures exactly 100mm on each dimension, giving a compact footprint that suits narrow wall sections between windows, either side of doorways, or in repeating sequences along boundary walls. The non-dimmable LED is rated for 20,000+ hours of operation and the fitting carries a 3-year manufacturer warranty from Mantra.

Frequently Asked
What does IP54 mean for outdoor use?
IP54 provides protection against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, including rain. The Davos can be installed in unsheltered positions exposed to UK weather, though it is not designed for direct high-pressure water jets or submersion.
Does the light shine forwards or up and down?
The LED projects bi-directionally through narrow apertures at the top and base of the cube, casting light upward and downward onto the wall surface. The front, sides and rear of the cube remain solid with no forward light emission, making this an accent wall-wash fitting rather than a flood light.
Can it be dimmed?
No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and operates at full 1100lm output when powered.
How is it wired?
The Davos requires a mains 220-240V supply run to the mounting location. An external junction box or weatherproof connector is typically needed unless the cable can be chased into the wall behind the fitting. The fitting mounts via a rear backplate with screw fixings suitable for brick, block or rendered walls.
