Darsa Cheese Knife Set - Brushed Gold - Set of 4

Four cheese knives, each 14cm long, with a steel blade and a tapered cylindrical handle finished in brushed gold. The four blades are cut to different shapes: one is slotted through with a forked tip, one is a wide flat blade with a rounded end, one is narrow and curves up to a point, and the fourth is a broad shallow scoop. The handles are worked rather than polished smooth, so the surface catches the light along its length.

At 14cm each these are board knives rather than drawer cutlery, and the four are meant to be laid out together beside what they are cutting. Between them the blade shapes cover a board carrying hard and soft cheeses at once, so nothing has to be cut with the wrong edge. The knives are food safe and go in the dishwasher.

The knives are stainless steel. The handles are forged using traditional techniques, which is where the worked texture comes from and why no two come out identical. The set arrives in a gift box. The same four knives are also made in brushed silver.
