The Danza is a 40cm sculptural LED table lamp built around a continuous wave-form structure in sandblasted matt black metal and aluminium. An integrated opal silicone diffuser follows the contour of the metal frame, housing an 18W 3000K LED strip that delivers 823 lumens of soft ambient light across the full length of the curve.

Designed for desktops, shelves and bedside tables in spaces where both function and form matter, the Danza works as task lighting for desk work, ambient lighting for a reading corner, or decorative accent lighting on a sideboard. The wave structure spans 40cm wide and stands 24cm tall with an 11cm depth, giving it presence on a surface without dominating the footprint. The low-voltage 24V LED system is powered by an external transformer (included) and draws just 18W while delivering output comparable to a traditional 60W halogen.

The sandblasted finish on the matt black metal diffuses reflections and fingerprints, keeping the surface clean under overhead lighting. The opal silicone diffuser softens the LED output to prevent glare when the lamp is positioned at eye level on a desk or bedside table. The continuous curve of the frame gives the lamp a kinetic quality — the silhouette changes depending on viewing angle, making it visually interesting even when switched off. At 0.46kg the lamp sits securely on most surfaces without needing to be anchored, and the mains cable exits from the rear foot of the curve.

Is the Danza dimmable?

The integrated LED is powered by a 24V low-voltage transformer. Dimmer compatibility depends on whether the transformer supports dimming. The product specification sheet does not list dimmer compatibility, so please contact Niori before pairing with a dimmer to confirm.

What surface area does the lamp require?

The lamp footprint is approximately 40cm wide by 11cm deep at the two contact points (front and rear of the wave curve). The full structure stands 24cm tall, so it suits desks, shelves and bedside tables with at least 45cm of clear width.

Can it be used as a reading light?

The Danza provides 823 lumens of soft ambient light at 3000K through an opal diffuser, which makes it suitable for general task lighting or bedside reading rather than focused directional reading light. For concentrated reading, pair it with a separate adjustable desk lamp.

How is the cable managed?

The mains cable exits from the rear foot of the wave structure. The low-voltage transformer sits inline on the cable between the lamp and the wall socket, so allow space behind the surface for the transformer and cable routing.
