Description

The Dali is a 58cm diameter 4-light chandelier built around four curved polished chrome arms radiating from a central stem, each arm supporting a frosted and clear glass shade housing a G9 bulb fitting. The arms sweep outward and upward in a symmetrical arrangement, creating a sculptural profile that works as both a semi-flush ceiling fixture and a short-drop pendant depending on the telescopic stem adjustment.

Designed for dining rooms, bedrooms and living rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m, the Dali provides ambient lighting through the frosted glass diffusion while the polished chrome frame adds decorative presence. The telescopic stem adjusts between 500mm and 730mm drop, allowing the fixture to be positioned closer to the ceiling as a semi-flush light in rooms with lower ceilings or extended as a short pendant over a dining table. The four G9 fittings take capsule bulbs up to 40W each, providing flexibility to choose halogen, LED or dimmable bulbs depending on the desired light output and colour temperature.

Each glass shade combines a frosted outer layer with a clear inner section, diffusing the light while allowing some direct illumination to pass through. The polished chrome finish reflects room light and adds brightness to the fixture's presence during daytime. At 2.8kg total weight, the Dali requires a ceiling rose rated for at least 3kg and standard 230V wiring. The fixture is supplied by Mantra, a Spanish lighting manufacturer focused on contemporary residential and contract lighting.

No, G9 bulbs are sold separately. The fitting takes four G9 capsule bulbs up to 40W each. Most users pair this with LED G9 bulbs in the 3-5W range and 2700K-3000K colour temperature for warm ambient lighting.

Can it be fitted as a semi-flush ceiling light?

Yes. The telescopic stem adjusts down to a 500mm minimum drop, allowing the fixture to sit closer to the ceiling in rooms with lower ceiling heights. At this setting it functions as a semi-flush light rather than a pendant.

Is the Dali dimmable?

The fixture itself is dimmable-compatible, but requires dimmable G9 bulbs to be fitted and a compatible dimmer switch on the circuit. Check bulb packaging for dimmer compatibility before purchasing.

What ceiling height is needed?

The fixture works in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upward. At the 500mm minimum drop it suits standard 2.4m ceiling heights. The 730mm maximum drop is better suited to ceiling heights of 2.7m or above to maintain clearance over furniture.
