Description

The Curve is a 92cm LED loop pendant light built around a continuous aluminium ribbon bent into a flowing, asymmetric form and finished in gold. An integrated 42W LED runs along the inside edge of the ribbon, casting 4000K light downward and outward through a silicone diffuser. Two fine suspension cables drop from an oval gold canopy, positioning the ribbon between 600mm and 1200mm below the ceiling depending on installation needs.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and living room zones where both ambient and task light are needed, the Curve works over surfaces of 1600-2400mm length. The 4000K colour temperature is cooler and crisper than 3000K warm-white alternatives, making it suited to kitchens, contemporary dining spaces and commercial settings where clean white light is preferred. The sculptural ribbon form remains visible when off, functioning as a decorative element rather than receding into the ceiling plane.

The gold finish on the aluminium ribbon provides a warm metallic accent that works with brass hardware, oak timber and warm-toned natural stone finishes. The silicone diffuser along the LED strip prevents visible LED dots and produces an even line of light along the 92cm length of the ribbon. The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry indoor locations, unsuitable for bathrooms or outdoor covered areas.

Can it be installed on a sloped ceiling?

The oval canopy is designed for horizontal ceilings. On sloped ceilings the suspension cables may not hang vertically, altering the visual balance of the ribbon form. Check the installation manual or contact Maytoni before fitting on sloped or vaulted ceilings.
