Description

The Curve is a 60cm spiral pendant light built from a continuous aluminium ribbon finished in brass, housing an integrated 31W LED strip with adjustable colour temperature from 2600K to 3500K. The spiral rotates through approximately 540 degrees as it descends, creating a helical form that suspends from a circular brass canopy on adjustable cables. A silicone diffuser along the inner edge of the aluminium ribbon distributes the LED light evenly and softens direct glare.

Designed for spaces with ceiling heights between 2.5m and 4.0m, the Curve suits dining rooms, living rooms, open-plan kitchen islands and commercial reception areas where a statement fitting is needed without overwhelming the room. The adjustable drop ranges from 45.7cm to 325.7cm, allowing the spiral to be set closer to a dining table or lowered into a double-height entrance hall. The dimmable LED works with trailing-edge dimmers, giving control over both brightness and colour temperature to shift the ambiance from warm candlelight tones at 2600K to cooler task lighting at 3500K.

The brass finish on the aluminium frame provides a warm metallic accent that pairs with both contemporary and transitional interiors. The spiral structure gives the fitting visual movement without requiring rotation or motion, so the form appears dynamic when viewed from different angles across a room. The IP20 rating restricts the Curve to dry indoor locations only. The integrated LED is rated for 30,000 hours at full brightness, equivalent to approximately 10 years of typical residential use at 8 hours per day.

Is the Curve dimmable?

Yes. The integrated LED is dimmable and works with trailing-edge dimmers. The colour temperature is also adjustable between 2600K and 3500K, allowing you to shift from warm amber tones to cooler white light depending on the room's use.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drop ranges from 45.7cm to 325.7cm. For a typical dining table or kitchen island, set the spiral 70-90cm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above. Higher ceilings up to 4.0m can accommodate the full drop extension.

Can it be installed in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating limits the Curve to dry indoor locations only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor use, or any area where moisture or splashing is present.

How is the spiral structure supported?

The aluminium ribbon suspends from the ceiling canopy on three adjustable steel suspension cables. The cables are set at three points around the 60cm diameter spiral, distributing the weight evenly and allowing the form to hang level without additional support from below.
