Description

We stock the Cubeo as a compact wall light built around a platinum metal shade set over a circular opal glass diffuser. It takes one G9 bulb up to 28W (sold separately, halogen or LED), which sits behind the glass so the opal diffuser softens the output and the shape of the metal shade guides it into a gentle directional wash. The platinum finish is a warm-toned silver that reads somewhere between polished chrome and brushed nickel.

It works well in hallways, beside a bed for reading, and on landings, anywhere you want a low-profile light on the wall rather than the drop of a pendant or the ceiling depth of a recessed fitting. The compact footprint suits narrow corridors and spots where wall space is tight, and the finish sits happily against both cool greys and warmer beiges. The opal glass keeps the G9 bulb from glaring, giving a comfortable glow when the light is on.

The Cubeo is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor areas. It runs on 220 to 240V mains at 50Hz and is not dimmable. It mounts to a standard UK wall box and should be wired in by a qualified electrician. The bulb is not included, so please add a G9 to your order if you need one.
