Description

The Cosmo is a 90mm diameter pendant light built around a 430mm transparent acrylic rod filled with air bubbles, topped with a polished chrome canopy and base collar. An integrated 5W LED inside the chrome base casts 520 lumens of 3000K warm white light down through the bubble-filled acrylic, creating a shimmering column of diffused light and internal reflections as the bubbles catch and scatter the beam.

Designed for kitchens, stairwells, hallways and other vertical spaces where a narrow footprint and vertical emphasis suit the architecture, the Cosmo hangs on a single clear cable that adjusts between 600mm and 1500mm total drop. The slim 90mm width allows it to be installed in rows along a kitchen island, grouped in clusters at different heights in a stairwell void, or used individually over a breakfast bar or side table without dominating the space. The IP20 rating limits installation to dry indoor areas.

The bubble-filled acrylic is a single moulded piece, not a hollow tube — the bubbles are trapped within the material during casting and create different patterns of light scatter and refraction depending on viewing angle. The polished chrome finish on the canopy and base collar reflects surrounding finishes and pairs cleanly with stainless steel appliances, chrome taps and contemporary metallic interiors. At 0.74kg the pendant requires only a standard UK ceiling rose for secure fixing.

Is the Cosmo dimmable?

The integrated 5W LED runs on mains voltage without requiring an external driver. Dimming compatibility depends on the specific dimmer switch used — contact us before pairing with a dimmer circuit to confirm compatibility with this model.

Can multiple Cosmo pendants be installed together?

Yes. The narrow 90mm diameter and adjustable drop make the Cosmo well-suited to grouped installations. Common configurations include rows of three or five along a kitchen island, or clustered sets at staggered heights in stairwells and double-height hallways.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable cable allows total drop between 600mm and 1500mm. In a typical 2.4m-height room, setting the drop to 600-800mm leaves adequate headroom. For installation over a kitchen island or breakfast bar, 700-900mm above the worktop surface is typical.

How is the bubble acrylic cleaned?

Wipe the acrylic rod with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For fingerprints or stubborn marks, use a barely-damp cloth with plain water. Avoid chemical cleaners, polishes and abrasive materials that can scratch acrylic or damage the chrome finish.
