The five light Corriford pendant in satin brass spreads five tapered metal shades across 690mm on arms that reach out from a central stem. The overall height adjusts between 690mm and 2030mm, which is a long enough range to hang it low over a dining table or high in a stairwell. Satin brass keeps the metal warm and matt rather than mirror bright, so the fitting stays quiet at this size. Five E14 lamps rated up to 6W each in LED cover a full table with overlapping pools of light, and the pendant light dims with dimmable lamps and a compatible dimmer switch.

This is the size to reach for over a table of 1.2m or more, a long island, or in an entrance hall where one ceiling light needs to carry the whole space. The generous drop range also makes it a candidate for a stairwell or a double height room, where you can set it low enough to be seen properly from below. Satin brass suits warm schemes: oak and walnut furniture, cream and stone walls, and the deep greens and inky blues that work well in dining rooms. It sits happily beside brass hardware without needing an exact match.

Stem, arms and shades are metal in a satin brass finish. Dust with a dry soft cloth and lift marks with a barely damp one, drying at once; metal polish, abrasive pads and solvent cleaners will dull the satin surface. Set the drop before final fixing so all five arms hang level, and at 3kg use a mounting point rated for the weight. As a Class 1 fitting it needs an earthed supply and a qualified electrician, and the IP20 rating means dry indoor rooms only. A three light Corriford pendant covers smaller tables, and both sizes come in bright nickel.
