Description

The Coralys bollard light is a 90cm garden post with a single slatted cage lantern hanging from the arm at its top, finished in Shadow Grey. The lantern is 17cm across and hangs from a short rod, and the post stands on a flat base plate 28cm by 17cm. Inside is a 6W integrated LED giving 600lm, so there is no bulb to buy or change, and with a CRI of 90 the leaves, stone and paving it falls on keep their natural colour. It comes in 2700K or 3000K: choose 2700K for a warmer, softer glow, or 3000K for a slightly crisper white.

This is an outdoor fitting rated IP65, so it is sealed against dust and protected against jets of water, and it is made for the garden whatever the weather. We like it lining a garden path, standing among borders and ornamental grasses, or marking the edge of a lawn, where the slats break the light into soft bands and the open ring at the foot of the lantern lets a glow fall onto the ground beneath. Set a few in a row and a path gains a steady rhythm after dark.

The post has a clean square section and turns at a crisp right angle into its arm, and the whole fitting is finished in Shadow Grey, a soft dark grey that sits quietly against green planting and weathered stone. It is a Class III fitting that runs at 24V DC. It needs a remote 24V DC driver, sold separately, which takes the mains supply and converts it to the 24V DC the light runs on, and the bollard is wired in to the mains through that driver by a qualified electrician. Order the driver alongside the bollard, and settle on 2700K or 3000K at the same time, so your electrician has everything to hand on the day.
