Description

The Coralys bollard light is a 120cm aluminium post in Shadow Grey. It has a square-section upright, a flat base plate and a short arm that turns at the top to hold a single slatted cage lantern. The shade is 17cm across and hangs free beneath the arm, so the light glows through the slats onto the ground around it. Inside is a 6W integrated LED giving 600 lumens, so there is never a bulb to buy or change. It comes in two colour temperatures: 2700K for a warmer glow or 3000K for a crisper white. With a CRI of 90, the planting and paving it lights keep their natural colours.

Rated IP65, it is made for outdoor use and suits a garden: lining a path, standing at the edge of a border, marking a gate or lighting a seating area on the lawn. At 120cm tall it lifts the lantern clear of low planting, and several placed along a route give a calm, even rhythm of light. It runs on 24V DC, so it needs a remote 24V DC driver, sold separately. The driver takes the mains supply and converts it to the 24V DC the light runs on, and the bollard will not light without one.

The Coralys is made in aluminium and finished in Shadow Grey, a dark, muted grey that sits quietly against foliage, stone and timber. The post is a slim square section that turns into the arm at the top. The open slatted cage lets the light glow through, and the base plate measures 28cm by 17cm, giving the post a broad footing. It is a Class III fitting running on 24V DC, and it is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. When you order, choose the 2700K or 3000K version to match any other outdoor lights you have.
