Description

This concrete table lamp pairs a cylindrical concrete base with a brushed gold metal band at mid-height and a natural linen drum shade. The concrete is cast as two sections separated by the gold band, giving the lamp a stacked column profile approximately 30cm in diameter and 62.5cm tall when the shade is fitted. An E27 bulb fitting sits inside the linen shade, which diffuses light horizontally and upwards.

Designed for bedside tables, console desks and side tables in living rooms, the lamp provides ambient light through the fabric shade rather than directed task lighting. The concrete base weighs 3.5kg, giving the lamp stability on narrow surfaces without needing to be bolted down. The neutral grey concrete and natural linen work in industrial, Scandinavian and contemporary interiors, while the brushed gold band adds warmth under both daylight and artificial light.

The concrete shows subtle surface texture and minor variation in tone between the upper and lower sections, a characteristic of the casting process rather than a defect. The linen shade is sewn from natural fabric with visible weave texture, allowing the bulb glow to show through when lit.
