Description

The Como is a three-head outdoor lamp post in black die-cast aluminium, standing 1820-2490mm tall with an adjustable column height. Three downward-facing lantern heads with clear glass panels sit on curved arms extending from a central vertical post, each housing an E27 bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately). The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashes, making it suitable for UK pathways, driveways and front gardens exposed to rain.

Designed for residential and light commercial outdoor installation, the Como provides three-point lighting across an 780mm width and 650mm projection, suitable for illuminating driveway entrances, garden paths and patio areas where a single lamp would leave corners in shadow. The post base includes a concrete anchor kit for ground mounting into prepared foundations — professional installation is recommended. The adjustable column height allows the fitting to be set lower for confined spaces or raised to its full 2490mm for open areas.

The black finish is powder-coated onto die-cast aluminium, giving corrosion resistance in UK coastal and urban environments. Each of the three E27 fittings accepts bulbs up to 60W, allowing flexibility to use warm-white LED bulbs for ambient path lighting or daylight-temperature bulbs where higher visibility is needed. Can this be used in coastal areas?

Yes. The powder-coated aluminium construction and IP54 rating provide protection against salt spray and moisture. Regular cleaning with fresh water will help maintain the finish in coastal locations.

What bulbs does it take?

Each of the three lantern heads takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W for outdoor path lighting.

How is it installed?

The post is ground-mounted using the included concrete anchor kit. A foundation must be prepared and the anchors set in concrete before the post can be fixed. Professional installation is recommended, and mains wiring must comply with Part P Building Regulations.

Is the height adjustable after installation?

The column height can be set between 1820mm and 2490mm during installation by adjusting the telescopic sections before fixing. Once installed and concreted, the height cannot be easily changed.
