Description

The Colette is a single-pendant LED light built around a looped brushed aluminium frame in a rose gold finish, with an opal silicone diffuser wrapping the LED strip inside the loop. The integrated 13W 3000K LED casts warm ambient light through the silicone, turning the entire loop into a diffused light source rather than exposing visible bulbs or diodes.

Designed for stairwells, kitchen islands, dining areas and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Colette provides ambient rather than task lighting. The pendant hangs on an adjustable cable allowing the drop to be set between 65cm minimum and 150cm maximum on installation. The 49cm loop height and 13cm width give the fitting a vertical profile that works well in taller ceiling voids or above staircases where a horizontal pendant would appear squat.

The rose gold finish on the brushed aluminium frame reads as a warm coppery-pink tone that pairs with warm neutrals, blush tones, brass hardware and natural timber interiors. The opal silicone diffuser softens the LED output to remove glare and hotspots, distributing the 1170 lumens evenly around the loop. At 0.63kg the pendant is light enough to hang from standard UK ceiling roses without additional structural support.

The looped form allows the Colette to be grouped — pairs or trios work over kitchen islands or long dining tables where multiple single pendants provide more control over light distribution than one large multi-light fitting. The rose gold also contrasts well with cooler metallic finishes elsewhere in the room, providing a warmer accent without needing to match every metal tone in the space.

The integrated LED is not stated as dimmable in the specification. If dimming is required, contact us before purchase to confirm compatibility with specific dimmer models or consider an alternative Schuller pendant with dimmer-rated LEDs.

What ceiling height is needed?

The pendant can be set between 65cm and 150cm drop on installation. For a kitchen island or dining table, the pendant typically sits 70-90cm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The 49cm loop height means the total vertical clearance needed is greater than with compact globe pendants.

Can multiple Colette pendants be grouped?

Yes. The looped form works well in pairs or trios over kitchen islands or long dining tables. Space them 60-80cm apart for balanced light distribution without visual crowding.

How is the rose gold finish cleaned?

Wipe the brushed aluminium frame with a dry microfibre cloth. For fingerprints or smudges, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. The opal silicone diffuser can be wiped with a damp cloth but avoid soaking the internal LED components.
