Description

The Colette is a single-pendant LED light built around a looped aluminium frame finished in polished chrome, housing an integrated 13W 3000K LED strip within opal silicone diffusers. The frame forms an elongated oval loop 49cm tall and 13cm wide, with the LED running inside the curved structure to create a continuous line of warm white light.

Designed for installation above dining tables, kitchen islands and breakfast bars, the Colette hangs on an adjustable cable that allows positioning between 65cm and 150cm from the ceiling. At the lower end of this range the pendant sits approximately 600-700mm above a standard 750mm-high table, placing the light source at eye level when seated. The chrome canopy measures approximately 120mm diameter and fits standard UK ceiling roses.

The aluminium construction keeps the fitting lightweight at 0.63kg, reducing stress on ceiling fixings compared to heavier glass or metal pendants of similar height. The polished chrome reflects ambient light during the day and pairs with cooler-toned interiors, while the opal diffusers soften the LED output to avoid glare when viewed from below. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only.

Is the Colette dimmable?

The integrated LED is rated at 13W on mains voltage. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model — please contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility with the LED driver.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable cable allows a drop between 65cm and 150cm from the ceiling. For a dining table the pendant typically sits 600-800mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. Higher ceilings can accommodate the full 150cm drop for more dramatic suspension.

Can it be installed in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating restricts the Colette to dry indoor locations only. It cannot be used in bathrooms, wetrooms or outdoor covered areas where moisture may be present.

How is the pendant cleaned?

Wipe the chrome frame with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. The opal silicone diffusers can be wiped with a barely-damp cloth if needed, but avoid soaking or using household sprays and polishes that may damage the finish or the LED strip inside.
